Michael,

Welcome, fellow foodie! Your site is beautiful. I'll have to borrow some of your recipes when I have more time to browse.

I don't always take photos for my posts, simply because they just don't measure up to those on sites such as yours (partly the equipment, partly my limited skills). If you look at my previous posts, you'll know what I mean!

Come back often. I'll be sure to visit your blog again.

Your dad was one of "the greats." A lot of times I could go to other people's houses and feel really uncomfortable around their parents, but not at your house. Your dad was just a kind soul who put people at ease. Be glad you have the better parts of him in you, even the nose.

Ditto what Teri said.

You said, "Dad is so much a part of who I am." That explains why I think so much of you. I adored him, and yes, you are just like him in so many ways. Therefore, I adore (and admire) you too.

I adore you both, too, Tan. And Dad loved you both to pieces.
Suzy

You always make me cry when you write about Uncle Benny. The man was, and will always be, bigger than life in my eyes. I miss him terribly.

Well, Salsa does bear a strong resemblance to my sissy, Missy, and she is always killing snakes and squirrels, and she will even try for an armadillo every now and then. Stinky and gross, but she seems to like it.

I've made a creamy mushroom sauce that I poured over organic chicken (I used the shiitakes, the butter and the whole milk from the BAM); eaten most of the strawberries; made pesto with the milk and a little bit of the butter; used the cheese in my salad of spring mix; and devoured nearly half the rosemary-garlic focaccia that Argenta Market chef Shane made (I bought that at the booth next to BAM). There's nothing like it!

It was great seeing the both of you on Saturday. I have already used my noodles, eaten most of my strawberries, and finished off my salad greens.... I really love the BAM. Can't wait to see what's new next weekend, I am waiting on the squash. I love buying from these local farmers!

Well, Suzy Q, that must be one of your funniest posts to date. Of course I started singing the title to the tune of "Video Killed the Radio Star" but that my own weirdness I guess.
